Color Formula is designed around local formula records and professional reference workflows. Client names, consultation notes, formulas, outcome notes, and optional visit photos stay on your device and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud container.
Shade-family matches are informational starting points. They are not one-to-one substitutes, endorsements, certifications, or manufacturer-approved recommendations.
Data you create
Client records, formulas, notes, photos, cost calculations, and outcome history are stored locally in the app. If you use iCloud sync, Apple syncs that data through your private iCloud account. Keltek does not run a custom client-record server for Color Formula v1.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed through Apple and RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier so the app can unlock Pro features and restore purchases. Color Formula does not require a Keltek account in v1.
Analytics
Color Formula can use TelemetryDeck for privacy-conscious product analytics such as feature usage, catalog update outcomes, and purchase-flow diagnostics. Analytics events are filtered so they do not include client names, formulas, notes, photo paths, or raw client records. You can turn analytics off in Settings.
Catalog updates
The app may check a signed public catalog manifest and download signed catalog data. Catalog update requests do not need client formulas or client notes.
Support and feedback
When you contact support or send a mismatch/coverage report, the app opens Mail or Share with a local payload. Send only the information you want support to receive. Do not include client names, contact details, formulas, or photos unless support explicitly asks for them through a safer channel.
Your controls
You can export or delete local app data from Settings. You can manage subscriptions through Apple. You can disable analytics in Settings. You can also email [email protected] for privacy or support requests.
