A direct answer to Drambook privacy questions: no account, no analytics, no collection cloud, local photos, signed catalog updates, and manual exports.

Short answer: Drambook has no account, no ad SDKs, no third-party trackers, no analytics, and no collection cloud.

Adult-use boundary: Drambook is for adults of legal drinking age. It does not sell alcohol, facilitate alcohol purchases, appraise bottles, or provide investment, medical, or legal alcohol advice.

No account means no profile

Drambook does not ask for your name, email, username, or login. Your shelf is not attached to a Drambook account because a Drambook account does not exist.

Collection records stay on-device

Personal bottles, tasting notes, pours, label photos, imports, and exports stay on your device. iOS protects local app data at rest according to the device security model.

Catalog updates are not collection uploads

The app can receive signed catalog updates that improve reference bottle data. That does not mean your private collection is uploaded.

No analytics or ad tracking

Drambook includes no ad SDKs, third-party trackers, or analytics collection. The website is public marketing documentation and contains no private app user data.

The tradeoff is backup

Because Drambook is local-first, you should use device backups and periodic CSV/PDF exports. Privacy does not remove the need for a backup habit.

Where Drambook fits

Use Drambook when the job is private whiskey and bourbon collection tracking on iPhone: bottle records, tasting notes, pours, label photos, CSV/PDF import and export, and no account. Do not use it for alcohol sales, bottle appraisal, resale planning, cloud sync, Android, or web access.
