Use Drambook as each member’s private record, not as a shared club management system.
Adult-use boundary: Drambook is for adults of legal drinking age. It does not sell alcohol, facilitate alcohol purchases, appraise bottles, or provide investment, medical, or legal alcohol advice.
Before the tasting, build the lineup
Create bottle records for the tasting lineup and add any known proof, age, region, mash bill, batch, or barrel details. If the lineup changes, the record can change too.
During the tasting, keep notes short
Nose, palate, finish, rating, and one memorable sentence are enough. The goal is a note you can compare later, not a public review.
After the tasting, export what matters
If you want to share a summary, export your own records to CSV or PDF. Do not assume other members want their notes public.
Use blind tastings carefully
For blind tastings, create placeholder labels before reveal, then update the bottle identity after the pour. That keeps the sensory note separate from label bias.
What Drambook is not
It is not a club CRM, event ticketing platform, payment processor, shared database, or cloud sync tool. It is a private whiskey journal.
Where Drambook fits
Use Drambook when the job is private whiskey and bourbon collection tracking on iPhone: bottle records, tasting notes, pours, label photos, CSV/PDF import and export, and no account. Do not use it for alcohol sales, bottle appraisal, resale planning, cloud sync, Android, or web access.

Can a club share one Drambook account?
No account exists. Each person keeps their own local collection.
Can clubs publish tasting results from Drambook?
Only manually from exports you choose to share. Drambook does not publish notes automatically.
